ADMIRALTY Digital Publications (ADP)

Essential paper publications produced by the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) have been made available in digital form in ADMIRALTY Digital Publications (ADP). ADP contains identical information to corresponding paper publications and are approved as meeting SOLAS carriage provisions.


Included with ADP

ADMIRALTY Digital List of Lights (ADLL): The worldwide authority on light and fog signals.

ADMIRALTY Digital Radio Signals (ADRS): The worldwide authority on maritime radio signals.

ADMIRALTY Digital Radio Signals - Volume 2 (ADRS2): Aiding in the calculation of time and positions: the time-keeping and positional references.

ADMIRALTY Digital Radio Signals - Volume 6 (ADRS6): Contains essential radio information for maritime communication covering 3,600 locations around the world.

Admiralty TotalTide (ATT): Global tidal predictions are provided by. This real time service predicts both height and stream data.

Recomended minimum requirements

ADPV18.0 and ADMIRALTY e-Reader 1.3 will run on any PC meeting the Microsoft recommended minimum requirements for the following operating systems.

  • Windows7 (SP1)
  • Windows8.1 (SP1)
  • Windows10

CPU: 1GHz or faster 32-bit(x86) or 64-bit(x64) processor.

Memory: 1 GB RAM(32-bit) or 2GB RAM(64-bit).

Display: DirectX9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver.

It is recommended that your computer has up-to-date antivirus software installed and the most recent Windows updates applied.

Additional system requirements

Disk space At least 1GB of available disk space for APDV18.0 and 5GB of available disk space for ADMIRALTY e-Reader 1.3.

APDV18.0 can be installed on two standalone PCs, either as a MAIN or BACKUP.

ADMIRALTY e-Reader 1.3 can be installed on upto theree PCs as a MAIN, Backupor RESERVE installation.

The UKHO does not support ADP or ADMIRALTY e-Reader 1.3 on operating system where Microsoft support has been withdrawn, i.e. Windows XP.

ADPV18.0 and ADMIRALTY e-Reader 1.3 are not suitable for operation accross network.
