Collection: IMO Signs for Resolution A.1116 (30)
The IMO resolution A.1116 (30) provides a number of new signage for Life saving, means of escape, and emergency equipment signs. The table shows the old version with the new version that should used. These new signs should be used on ships built after the 1st January 2019, and by all existing vessels
at their first major repair of refit. Some of our customers have informed us that some Port State Control officers have referred the Master to the IMO A.1116 (30) resolution and urged the Master to update the signs, even though the ship under the regulations could wait until the first repairs, alterations,
modifications, and outfitting after the 1st January 2019.
