Covering the North Sea and Baltic coasts of Germany and Denmark, this guide is a companion to Brian Navin's North Sea Passage Pilot and Cruising Guide to the Netherlands. It is organised on the basis of carefully selected routes which pick up most of the harbours in the area that it covers. The combination of text, plans and photographs provides all the essential details and plans of ports that are covered.

This new fourth edition contains extensive revisions that have become necessary since the last edition was published in 2006. Throughout the area changes have occurred, and whilst many are trivial, in some instances there have been substantial harbour works. These are reflected in amendments to the plans and also the large number of new photographs which Brian Navin has taken during recent visits to Germany and Denmark.

Over recent years the area has seen an increasing number of visiting yachts from the British Isles, and Cruising Guide to Germany and Denmark is established as the standard companion for these English speaking visitors to this wonderful cruising area.
