LNG Shipping Suggested Competency Standards, 2nd Edition
The standards were
written using the competence based methodology, used in STCW and
throughout the industry generally. They cover all Officer ranks on LNG
vessels, including the electrician and cargo engineer. The intention is
for them to be used to ensure a common standard of minimum training
throughout the industry.
