IMDG Code e-Learning: General Awareness Course

The Dangerous Goods Transport General Awareness course is for personnel who need a familiarisation with dangerous goods transport regulations and an awareness of the duties that arise from them.

The Dangerous Goods Transport General Awareness course fully meets the ‘awareness training’ requirements in of the IMDG Code (Amdt 39-18), of the ADR Agreement and RID Regulations and also highlights requirements in the air transport regulations and the 49CFR domestic dangerous goods regulations.

It is ideal for warehouse personnel, clerical workers, administrators, managers, customer service and/or sales personnel and others who have a very limited direct involvement in dangerous goods shipping or transport activities but need a general appreciation of the regulations.

IMDG Code e-Learning has been assessed and certified against the DNV (Det Norske Veritas) Standard for Certification of Learning Programmes. This certifies that the course has met the DNV standard for the quality of development, content and delivery; is properly designed; contains clear objectives; is designed by qualified trainers; and is assessed and improved in line with market demands and experience.

The course is updated with every new edition of the IMDG Code and is also updated for errata and user feedback as required.
