This new edition by the ICS/ISF Guidelines are being fully d to take account of the latest amendments and guidance agreed by IMO, and experience gained since the ISM Code became fully mandatory in 2002. The expanded new edition will also include additional guidance on risk management, safety culture and environmental management. It will supersede and replace the previous 1996 edition (which has sold in excess of 50,000 copies). * To provide additional value and utility, this new edition will be accompanied by a CD version of the text with a “search” function. * The CD will also include various reference documents and a Model Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
